Reinstatement Valuations and Property Surveys

Over the last five years Brendan Merry & Partners have carried out a significant number of Reinstatement Valuations and Property Surveys for various Clients and Institutions.

In the last twelve months we have carried out Insurance Reinstatement Valuations for Religious Communities, Primary and Secondary Schools consisting approximately 120 properties worth a total value of approximately €270 million, covering an area of approximately 110,000 Sq.m.  

Brendan Merry &Partners have also developed their Ecclesiastical experience following projects including the Restoration of St. Mel’s Cathedral, Longford and St. Catherine’s Church, Meath Street. We have been engaged by both Allianz Ireland and various Church Dioceses. Our total for Cathedral and Church Reinstatement Valuations to date now total approximately €350 million covering an area of approximately 28,000 Sq.m. Cathedral’s surveyed include Cobh, Letterkenny, Cavan, Longford, Kilkenny and Dublin’s Pro-Cathedral.

Brendan Merry &Partners have also been engaged by Davy Real Estate Asset Management to carry out Reinstatement Valuations on a portfolio of 42 Properties totalling approximately €260 million including various sectors such as Industrial, Offices, Residential and Retail.

Brendan Merry &Partners also surveyed and inspected 115 properties for HSE Dublin South Central which included Cherry Orchard Hospital, The Meath Hospital, Dr. Stephen’s Hospital, Primary Care Centres, Community Nursing Homes, Health Centres and Residential Care Units. The property condition surveys generated a database to prioritise management of the HSE-DSC property portfolio.
